About this issue

In the wake of the devastating quake, Batman and Robin try to find the mother of a lost little girl.Batman and Robin spot a child named Jayrine looking for her mother among the ruins. She is sent to Detective Montoya at the police department for help. Meanwhile, Captain Sarah Gordon argues with a city official to release water from the Tri-Corner Reservoir. On the other part of the city, rescue workers find something in the rubble. Patrols and a curfew make it difficult to move around at night. Robin visits Jayrine at the police department to ask about her mother. He approaches Penguin and asks for leads that would help fine Shakey Reardon, Jayrine’s mother’s boyfriend. Sarah is ferried back to the city where she meets her husband.Robin catches up with Shakey and Jayrine’s mother at their apartment about to leave the city. They abandon her and Robin goes back to check on her. Upon closer inspection, they find money inside the child’s ragdoll. She finds a home in her grandparents’ farm.
