These Creator Terms explain the basic rules for publishers, artists, writers, illustrators, and creators using ApeChain Comics.
ApeChain Comics is a Web3 comic store and creator marketplace that allows approved publishers to create a profile, promote their work, showcase collections, submit comics for sale, and earn publisher payouts from eligible sales.
By joining as a publisher or submitting content, you agree that:
- You own or have the rights to sell, publish, upload, distribute, and promote the comic, artwork, images, files, and written content you submit.
- You will not upload stolen artwork, unauthorized scans, copyrighted material you do not own, trademark-infringing content, or content that violates another creator’s rights.
- All submitted comics require review before they are published in the ApeChain Comics marketplace.
- ApeChain Comics may reject, remove, hide, or disable any submission that appears incomplete, unsafe, infringing, misleading, inappropriate, or outside the goals of the platform.
- ApeChain Comics keeps a platform royalty on eligible comic sales. The default royalty is 10%, unless changed by the platform settings or a separate written agreement.
- Publisher earnings are tracked in the ApeChain Comics royalty ledger.
- V1 payouts are manual. ApeChain Comics does not automatically send crypto, split wallets, or perform instant payout automation.
- Publishers are responsible for providing accurate payout information, including PayPal email and crypto wallet addresses.
- Wallet and payment changes may be reviewed before payout for security reasons.
- ApeChain Comics may require additional verification before processing payouts.
- Publisher subscriptions allow access to creator tools, profile features, comic submission tools, and marketplace participation while the membership is active.
- If a subscription expires, publisher access may be limited and new comic submissions may be disabled.
- Existing approved comics may remain live, be paused, or be removed according to platform policy.
- Creators are responsible for their own tax reporting, income reporting, and legal obligations related to their sales and payouts.
- ApeChain Comics is not responsible for disputes between creators and third parties over ownership, commissions, artwork rights, or outside agreements.
- ApeChain Comics may update these Creator Terms as the platform grows.
