What is an ApeChain Comics Publisher?
A Publisher is a verified creator with an active membership who can manage a public profile, submit comics for review, track sales in the royalty ledger, and request manual payouts. Publishing access is not the same as a regular site account.
How much does it cost?
Publisher memberships are billed through WooCommerce. Current list prices are $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (prices may change; your checkout total is final).
What can I submit?
Digital comics you own or have rights to sell, including cover art and interior pages as PDF, plus metadata (title, descriptions, age rating, optional AI disclosure). Submissions must follow the submission form requirements and site policies.
Are comics automatically approved?
No. Every comic is reviewed by ApeChain Comics before it can be published. Approved comics are published manually by our team; rejected or pending comics stay off the public catalog.
How do payouts work?
Eligible sales are recorded in your royalty ledger. When your balance meets the minimum payout threshold and your payout settings are complete, you can request a payout. Our team processes payouts manually — there is no automatic transfer.
Does ApeChain Comics send crypto automatically?
No. Crypto and other payout methods are configured in your dashboard, but all payouts are sent manually by administrators after review. Never share private keys; only provide payout addresses you control.
What is the platform royalty?
On eligible comic sales, ApeChain Comics retains 10% as the platform royalty and the publisher receives 90%. This split is tracked in the royalty ledger for each order.
Can I promote commissions?
Yes. Active publishers can configure commission settings in the Creator Dashboard so visitors know how to hire you. Commission arrangements are between you and your clients; ApeChain Comics does not escrow or guarantee commission work.
Can I showcase NFT collections?
Yes. Use the Collections tab to add curated links to NFT collections or related projects. Listings are promotional; on-chain ownership is not verified by the platform.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Publisher dashboard features (new submissions, profile edits, payout requests) require an active membership. Existing published comics and recorded earnings remain in the system, but you must renew to regain full publisher access.
