Benedict Asp interrogates Shondra Kinsolving about where “Hemingford Gray” came from and how she knows him. Bruce Wayne, using Hemingford Gray as an alias, beats up some of Asp’s high class goons using an electrified cane. Wayne has dyed his hair red and wearing a monocle.The Hood shows up on Asp’s property after finding the surrounding town’s citizens all dead. Wayne is held up at gun point by Asp’s goons and the Hood jumps in and saves him. The Hood cleans up the fodder while Wayne moves on and finds Jack Drake near death and tortured.Asp escapes with Shondra in a helicopter and Wayne goes to the town to try and find Alfred. Wayne proclaims his love for Shondra and pledges that he will find her.
