About this issue
A Zero Hour crossover issue. Batman and Robin head back to the Batcave, saddened that Alfred is no longer under Wayne employment. However, when they arrive, they find a butler calling himself Alfred on duty. Batman surmises that this Alfred is from an alternate timeline, much like the Batgirl they faced in Batman #511. With this clumsy Alfred causing havoc in Wayne Manor, Batman and Robin go out to hunt two criminals whose M.O. was to hypnotize owners to rob from themselves. The dynamic duo are ambushed by the criminals, and are hypnotized into inaction. They are rescued by alternate-version Alfred, who thinks himself an amateur detective. The thugs are captured, as alternate-Alfred vanishes from our timeline.Notes:Alfred Beagle appears in the story.”DC Universe 19″ one page featuring Zero Hour and San Diego Comic-Con 1994.
