Batman: Shadow of the Bat #77 (1992)

Batman is on his way do deliver anti-cholera vaccines to a rescue station when he comes across looters at Gotham University. One of them escapes and he gives chase eventually leading into the Faculty of Sciences. There, he comes across a professor who has been trapped in a classroom full of dead students.Driven mad by the earthquake, the professor has become obssessed with testing Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Based on his own ideas – that survival depends on luck – he forces the Batman into a challenge. He has to walk across a girder blindfolded or else the escaped looter dies.As Batman makes his way, the looter takes the professor’s gun which causes the unstable floor to collapse. He saves the professor and turns him and the looters in to the police.
