Batman searches “No Man’s Land” for the mythical “King of Gotham”! The mysterious man known as the King of Gotham has disappeared and the lives of dozens of needy children hang in the balance! How can the Dark Knight find someone who may not even exist? An “urban legend” The King has been supplying a group of sick children with necessary medical supplies and instructions for water filers, but has recently gone missing. Batman is asked to find The King but a priest of the group. The King had been kidnapped by a group of thugs who wanted his secrets of water filtering. However, he was then captures by Killer Croc whose primal instinct to be alpha male saw The King and his reputation as a threat. Batman recues The King who turns out to be Stanley Demchaszky, a recently released conman from Blackgate Prison who had a change of heart after seeing the results of the earthquake.
