Batman #428 (1980)

Picking up directly where last issue left off, Batman is standing in the rubble of the building where Jason and his mother were. He begins searching the rubble while remembering how he met Jason, how violent he had gotten, and how he found out about Batman knowing that Two Face killed his parents. He finds Jason’s mother, who talks about what happened and how good Jason is before she dies. Batman then finds Jason and picks him up, and he is dead. Batman holds a funeral for Jason and eventually goes to the UN building, where the Joker had said he’d be, and he is greeted by Superman. Batman and Superman get into an argument and as it starts to calm down, the Joker arrives, announcing he has diplomatic immunity.Notes:Two-Face cameo flashback appearance.
