About this issue

Black Canary battles impossible odds to see that the heinous dictator in her charge is extradited to his native country unharmed. One problem: she’s made up her mind that he deserves to die!Black Canary attempts to save the life of an imprisoned general, but is confronted by a platoon of soldiers. However they manage to escape, as she continues to try and get him out of the country so he may stand trial. However he is then shot by a Markovian sniper who is taken down by a mechanical canary cry, as the vest the general had worn stopped the bullet. Meanwhile at Oracle’s her mysterious internet friend sends a message suggesting a vacation for Europe would be good for her.The Canary and the General attempt to reach their exit through the tunnels, however are confronted by a police officer and several armed citizens. They however manage to escape through the tunnels defeating each of them in the darkness. They then continue as an unseen assailant fires at the Black Canary as the elevator opens, but the general takes the shot for her, defeating the attacker as the general dies in her arms. The Canary then escapes the country through the aircraft she had hidden on the roof.
