Booster Gold #7 (1986)

It’s the establishment versus non-conformists in a battle of ideologies, which turns into a battle of fists when Superman takes one side and Booster the other, in “The Lesson.”Lord Galeb has captured Booster Gold, Superman, Jason Redfern and Ranzee taken then to his ship and has accused them of the crime of treason. They try to fight but are quickly subdued by Lord Galeb’s consort who knocks them all out flat.Back on earth Benny and Martin the Writer and artist of the new Booster Gold comic try to get Trixie Collins a.k.a. Goldstar to let them see Booster. They had just finished the first issue and want Booster to sign a copy for them. Also Booster’s agent Dirk Davis makes a deal with Jack Soo to make a super powered outfit for a female side kick for Booster. (Trixie will end up with this costume)Back in space Booster and crew find themselves in a jail cell. They try to gather information from Ranzee who tells them that he has been fighting Lord Galeb for years. He even says Lord Galeb personally tortured and killed his wife and child. This is when Booster says he’ll help Ranzee. Superman is not so sure about everything.Meanwhile back on earth again Dirk is reading the first issue of Booster Gold when he gets a phone call letting him know his daughter Sarah has been kidnapped.In Space again Booster and Superman get into a fight over Ranzee. Long story short Ranzee lied and Lord Galeb never killed Ranzee’s family or at least that’s his story. Booster and Superman seemed convinced and go back to earth with Jason. They get back just in time for Booster to get an interview with Lois Lane. Superman gets a little steamed by the whole situation.
