Brightest Day #3 (2010)

Deadman is teleported in front of the Anti-Monitor and told to fight using the power of the white ring. Just before the Anti-Monitor attacks he is teleported away again into space.Elsewhere, in a hospital bed, Jason and Ronnie are recovering from his recent separation from the Firestorm Matrix. Each has been given orders to keep themselves physically separated. Ronnie storms out of the hospital while Jason’s dad demands he go back with him to Detroit.Meanwhile, somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, Aquaman tries to use his powers to call fishes in the sea. He still is having difficulty getting live ones to answer his call–only the dead show up. Mera suggests that he head for Atlantis and see if their scientists can figure out what’s up with his powers. Aquaman declines the offer.Back in New York City morgue, Martian Manhunter is investigating a families murder when he finds dog hair on one of the bodies and suspects it to have been the family’s pet. He heads for the animal shelter. He finds the dog and examines his memories to find out what he witnessed. Jon then delivers the dog to a needy family in Colorado.In Peru, Hawkman and Hawkgirl are following Hath-Set and a group of terrorists who are looking for the remains of Hawkman and Hawkgirl from long ago. Hawkman and Hawkgirl discover that Hath-Set has now discovered all remains of themselves and has created a portal to an unknown place.
