About this issue
After a brief appearance of Two Face, Batman and Robin start off the night by foiling a blood bank heist. After some witty comments from robin about who decommissioned more villains, Batman finds a stray culprit hiding behind some boxes. Upon closer examination it is discovered that the burglar had some black market medical work done. Not saying a word as to where his base of operations exists, its obvious to the dynamic duo that The Crime Doctor is back in business.Jason and Bruce head over to Leslie Thompkins to get Jay checked up from the bullet wound suffered a few issues ago. and Bruce dives into Leslie’s records to find people with the rare blood type that matches Crime Boss “Big Moe” McAllister’s. Big Moe is Known to have medical conditions preventing him from making his getaway and The Batman has a sinking feeling The Crime Doctor will be preforming his surgery soon. The search produces several leads, but only one has ties to the criminal world, Schuyler Reems.Schuylers wife and daughter are home alone when Batman and Robin come knocking. Protecting him to the very end they are reluctant to help in any way. But batman finds all the evidence he needs in an unsuspecting place, mud on the floor. The two crime fighters, after a few questions around town, arrive at the Crime Doctors Base of Operations ahead of Gordon and the force. In the end its a happy day for Schuyler and the Dynamic Duo, not so much for Big Moe and the Crime Doctor.
