Wonder Woman #78 (1987)

Headmistress Gates is in trouble. Her school must meet another school in a baseball game with the losing school to be merged with the winning school. However due to a measles epidemic there are no students in her school. She calls upon Wonder Woman for help but in order for Wonder Woman to be allowed to play for her school she must consent to allow the headmaster of the other school to set the rules of the competition at will. He continually sets seemingly impossible tasks for Wonder Woman.According to amazon law one day of every year Wonder Woman’s weapons lose their special properties without any advance warning. She must battle the odds to continue to fight crime without the benefit of her bracelets, tiara and lasso of truth.Wonder Woman is offered 1 million dollars for charity if she shoots a movie starring herself with a mysterious script.
